Isaac and I went on a babymoon to three incredible European cities this past April. We enjoyed the food, the people, the sights, and of course, the photography. The weather was mostly fair, with one day of rain in Rome--on the day we visited the Vatican. For those interested, we used the Canon f/2.8 24-70 mm lens to take all those selfies.
Jet-lagged and excited... Day one in Roma!
At no point was I mistaken for an Italian pop-star. Loved Roma, hated the fact that "The Lizzie McGuire Movie" was such a lie.
Runners of the Rome Marathon; lots of Italian cheers could be heard.
If you're not eating gelato at least 3x per day, were you really in Roma?
20 weeks with my Baby Girl.
The Pantheon, inside and out.
St. Peter's Basilica
Onto Berlin!
On the roof of the Reichstag... Chancellor Merkel was nowhere to be found.
Great long exposure of the TV Tower, courtesy of Isaac. Then onto Paris!
Straight from our hotel to Esplanade des Invalides... a must at golden hour!
Since studying abroad in Paris, it has always had my heart. "If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young [woman], then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast." -Hemingway
Au revoir, Paris. Vous avez mon coeur.
